Recently realized I really need to expand my ink-describing vocabulary.

Amidst the fancy inks in my collection, I notice that I sometimes lose sight of the more prosaic inks, like this super-pretty Diamine Tyrian Purple.

People kept saying, “Dude, stop trying to make #catsonpads a thing.” But here we are and it’s now one of the most popular hashtags on IG.

“Writing a paper” and “testing paper” are basically the same thing, right? Besides, what some might call “procrastination,” I prefer to frame as “alternate use of my time.”

Journaling is hereby postponed indefinitely. 🐱

In the mood for some muted colors, despite the sunshine.

My first custom pen, made by @jalbertlawrence (Romulus Pens). I’d had a weird dream about a Sailor PG Realo with a Pelikan M805, in some kind of vintage material. This is the wonderful result! 👍🏼 PS: Not sure about the nuptials part, but I love the idea of a conversation as a kind of becoming.

Hope there are still some pens and inks left!

Inspired by @penucopia, and rather uninspired by the steel nib that came with the pen, I got my @conidpen Minimalistica some new shoes. 👍🏼

When it wears off and you’re reminded of all the shoveling you did the day before.

Surely, I’m not the only one who makes completely unnecessary and arbitrary top 5 ink lists. Right???

KWZ Hunter Green is subtle and really lovely.

476 pages. This journal has listened to me blather on about two moves, a career change, the start of a new degree, two internships, the beginning and end of a relationship, and all the rest of what constitutes nearly three years of one’s life. Goodbye, old friend.

More Maggie Nelson.

I love the slight stub @nibgrinder put on this Platinum 3776. Ink is the amazing Ishida Bungu Hakodate Twilight.
